I was given this scripture this morning:

“You offer defiled food on My altar, But you say, ‘In what way have we defiled you?’ By saying ‘The table of the Lord is contemptible.’….

For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, and people should seek law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts…..

Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from my ordinances and have not kept them.

Return to Me, and I will return to you.”  Says the Lord of hosts.  But you said ‘In what way shall we return?’

Malachi 1:7, 2:7, 3:7

In response to complacency in the church, the Lord says:

Jesus is the one who saves.  You who tend to the flocks, are not the one who saves.  You are servants of the Lord and you will be judged more strenuously than most, for you are in a position wherein you are required to lead and serve My people.  This is NOT a position from which to lord it over their lives, it is NOT a position that gives you the right to benefit from their confusion or indecision.  It is NOT something that gives you the right to be tending to your own needs through their contributions.  You are worthy when you realise that you are a servant who leads through serving the Lord’s sheep.  He has put those in your care who He seeks to serve, and so to recommend someone to be in charge but then see that they fall short in representing you (as in Jesus) to the masses is a tragic thing, and one for which you will be held accountable.  It is a travesty which I am revealing, and it is very disappointing to me that I even have to do this, because the scripture is there, plain to see.  You were warned against this time and again in scripture.  Why will you not heed the call of the Father for righteousness and humility and warmth in my churches?  Why do you not speak about things such as sin and the grief of the Father’s heart, or the need to be washed clean by the blood of Jesus and stay clean through righteous living and repentance?  Why are you not seeking MY face every day for yourself and on behalf of My children who are in your care?  DO NOT become the boulder in their path that prevents them from seeking my face.  It is great that you can steward yourself, if indeed you can, but you need to be thinking about how the people will be stewarding (and I mean this in a proactive sense) themselves in relationship to the Holy Spirit in their lives.  Point them to Me at all times, and not to the glory you have given to yourselves and one another.  No, sweet shepherds, you are to be whipped into line, and therefore it is my desire that my servants send out this message in droves into the body and the heart of My family, to let you know how I see things.    For I am He who saves.

Thanks for visiting!  I pray that you are able to share this with those who have ears to hear, and that those of us who are living with things that are not in alignment with God’s will for our lives, and our roles in representing Christ on this earth, will humble ourselves before the Lord once more, and return to Him in obedience.  Bless you.
