This is what I ‘heard’, 6 December 2019:
We are going to be speaking of the veracity of striving for the Kingdom principles which are the foundation* laid out before every believer, on which to build their sense of accomplishment and their know-how in the Kingdom. This is Kingdom prosperity: to be willing to lay down their life for the ones who they serve. This is Kingdom prosperity: to be given over to the purposes of the Lord. And this is Kingdom prosperity: to be truly seeking that which the Lord has given you in order to accomplish the tasks which He has set upon your table so to speak. There will never be a season in which the servants of the Lord are not willing to lay down their lives for the same reasons that Yeshua died on the cross. There will never be a time when it is okay to turn your backs on any of the needs of your congregations. There will never be an occasion on which it is okay to say “That can wait – while I seek the fulfilment of my needs first.” This is what it means to live in the presence of the Lord Jesus, and to sit at His table in the presence of your enemies. It means that neither the presence nor the shouting of your goliaths has any impact on you, because you are more focussed on serving others than you are on keeping your own giants subdued. How does all this become possible? It just takes a Kingdom perspective, and that will be given to you by the grace of God as He sees your promises being borne out in the ways that you live your life and the choices you make. If you keep sinning. If you continue in opulence and extravagance of this external place instead of giving away the riches in your possession to save souls – if you are unable or unwilling to put the needs of other people before your own selfish desires, you will NOT be accepted at the table of the Lord. This is a basic and sound truth, which should not surprise those of you who know Jesus Christ the saviour. And yet many will think that they have accomplished this task and they will be sorely disappointed on the day of judgement, when I turn my face away because they have not given their own sovereignty into MY hands to be turned into ploughshares for the fruition of the goodness of MY kingdom in their lives.
*This is not to negate the fact that Jesus is our foundation (bedrock). Our trust in God as our bedrock is what enables us to live out the Kingdom principles (as laid out by Jesus) in our lives in a very real way.
I hope to share more on this theme in the near future, as it relates to themes our God is speaking on to many of us lately as He takes us into a deeper understanding of the importance of trusting Him and allowing a fundamental shift in our perspectives (from the worldly to the eternal) which is borne out in the things we do, the words we speak, and the choices we make.
